Details:

Dark Blue Sweatpants with white dots printed all over. It has soft rib cuffs at leg endings and drawstring and elastic at the waist. and is made of 100% organic and Fairtrade certified cotton.

This garment is produced in a factory in India where Mini Rodini has started a living wages project. Instead of paying the workers just the minimum, which is almost impossible to live on, we pay living wages for the garments produced for us. This sweatshirt is both GOTS and Fairtrade certified. The certification include rigid controls of, among other things, chemical use, salaries and working conditions for everyone involved in the entire manufacturing process, from raw material to the final product. Mini Rodini's GOTS certified products generally contain at least 95% organic fibers. The Fairtrade certification ensures, among other things, that the cotton farmers who produce the cotton used in this garment have fair working- and living conditions. The farmers have a right to be paid a minimum price for their cotton even if the price on the global market varies. These two independent certifications functions as an extra safety and warranty that our children's clothes are both sustainably and ethically produced.

Story:

Mini Rodini is a Swedish children’s wear brand that was founded in 2006 by illustrator Cassandra Rhodin as a tribute to all children, their imagination and sense that everything is possible. Mini Rodini takes children seriously with playfulness, meaning it is important that children too have clothes that match their own personality, mood and creativity. What started with cotton leggings and tees in the now iconic robot print has grown to large collections consisting of outerwear, organic denim, accessories and everything in between.

At Mini Rodini, they take their ethical and sustainable commitment very seriously and it will always be the most important factor in Mini Rodini’s growth. It’s not just about getting better at what they do, but wanting the very best and a better world. This commitment affects decision-making at all levels in their organization, as it is an on-going process that demands an innovative approach to their whole business long-term. They work with comfortable and versatile fabrics that are both durable and distinctive. It is very important to them that they use materials and methods that have a lower impact on the environment and the end consumer. This also includes avoiding harmful chemicals and substances that are used in conventional production as much as possible.

Mini Rodini carries one of the most sustainable ranges of kids clothes on the market, including certified organic cotton pieces and recycled materials. The founder Cassandra Rhodin, still makes all the designs – each collection being totally unique to the Mini Rodini brand.
